New volonteers
Hi all, miss you soooo much!
It was quite lonely and quiet during mon-tue when the new vol were on their sacred valley tour. Just me and Cathy hanging out. We´re doing the best to keep up our slogan but naa...it wont happen...the bottomhouse will not rock this month...probably not he tophouse either. But it is good, can focus on talleres website. Sheila, thanks for the note in my computer, it was sweet of you. The artclass this monday with gr 5,6 got to paint lanscapes on the pieces of wood Terry left behind. Got the idea when AJ, Cath and I were in town during the weekend. Tuesday evening I planned the gr 4 art class with one of the new vol. She wanted to do music so we agreed to play music for the kids and they had to draw the instruments they could hear. My suggestion that we should play Rammstein was not popular though so we played Vivaldis 4 seasons insread. As i said, the bottom house will not rock..
Terry, Christine...do you miss a toothbrush ? Give me an adress and i will send it...yeah, right...
The new vols just got here and started getting sick right away. Some for the altitude but one is hospitalized already since a couple of days. Salmonella he caught in Equador probably. And the Brittish girl i was going to work with for design of the new webpage went to hospital after only one day. I´m feeling great, but Dr Victor told me that i´ve got salmonella. Whatever, i´m not sick....don´t trust doctors...
Cathy and I will go to lake Titicaca on friday. Train back ofcourse, don´t wanna miss the beautiful jewelery sold by the girls in the black dresses....Also got a 7 days cruise in Galapagos booked, it is going to be just great, hopefully there is atleast som pinguins left on the islands efter Cath´s visit...
Hope your all feeling well. Dale, we want your story! Did you make it to the transfer on thursday morning? How was the flight? You had only 45 minutes to go when you left the uptown discoteqa...respect! There is still guys who remember the "Crazy man" in 7 angels. All of them has for some reason just broken up with their girlfriends...wonder why..
So, this is my reporting blog for former volonteers, please give me comments and/or questions here. All of you who has some writing to do for the newsletter please send it to me during the weekend, I will put it together for Jane.
Take care!
